January 27, 2014Five Lessons from Samasource Workers In order to better understand its workers and their lives, Samasource started a new initiative back in July of 2013: Google+ Hangouts between team members at Samasource headquarters in San Francisco and workers at its delivery centers in the field. That’s right: Using Google technology, we can “hang out” with our workers in India, Kenya, and Uganda on a regular basis. We consider ourselves very lucky to be able to talk directly to our workers about their experience with Samasource, the socio-economic factors that influence their daily lives, and their hopes and dreams for the future. Our conversations with these people have been nothing short of revelatory.
