Samasource Reports Record Year, Over 400% Increase in Sales Bookings

The company has added leading eCommerce businesses, technology companies and universities including Google, Walmart.com, eBay, the University of California San Francisco and Getty Images to their client roster, among others. Samasource continues to be a leader in customer satisfaction while maintaining over 97% client retention and anticipates triple-digit growth in FY2013, based upon their current client base and recent bookings.

Samasource Announces $5.3 Million Partnership With The MasterCard Foundation & Closes $7.3 Million Philanthropic Funding Round
Samasource today announced that it has successfully closed a $7.5 million philanthropic funding round led by The MasterCard Foundation with participation from existing funders, including the California Endowment, the U.S. Department of State and the Dutch Postcode Lottery/Oxfam Novib. This funding will be used to create technology-enabled jobs for thousands of youth globally, to continue to develop Samasource’s robust technology platform, the SamaHub, and to support expansion of the organization’s microwork model into low-income communities in Gulu, Uganda and California.
